For AY 2012-2013 some TDS deducted and paid to department by company for services rendered is NOT included in 26AS due to error on the part of deductor OR department. Hence refund has been reduced by this amount.
Delhi High Court has ruled that tax payer should NOT be punished like this for no fault of his.
I have intimated the company to correct the error.
How to claim the refund now?
