Please clarify...........................After death of husband, wife being legal heir has to pay stamp duty once again for getting part of husband property ?????? Property is jointly ownership of husband & wife, When spouse already paid stamp duty for registration then wife has to pay again for stamp duty ???

you can file a application before the sub registrar of your area and make on your name paying a nominal fees
