In my opinion Intellectual property is a intangible right cum property.  As such you cannot keep it as bank security.

It is definately possible and there have been cases where it has been used as a bank security. however, the instances are very case specific and depend on lot of factors such brand value of IPR in case of trademarks, available of subtitues incase of patents, etc,.
