Is there any kind of restriction if somone had a traffic challan for joining government jobs?
I want to write SSC CGL exam ( central government jobs ).
I was fined by traffic police :-
Helmat + Not Insured + Overloading ( Bike )
This is the only instance of any such criminal act in my entire life. I never thought of a private job, I am a final year student , please help .

There is no provision which disentitles you to get a job, before getting into the job there is no bar but when you attained "government servant" status then there is a bar; and it is penal itself.

Every government job application form have a column :-
"Have you ever been arrested/prosecuted/kept under detetion/convicted or fined by court of law? If so, give details"
Can you please clarify this ?
