Home loan

I took a home loan for Rs 5 lakhs in 2005 @13.25% . I was asked to repay @ Rs 7760 per month for 60 months. I defaulted in between but by September 2011 I had paid 70 instalments. When I asked the NBFC to close the loan they wrote back that I have to pay them Rs 6,91,000/-. In another 3 months they put up my property for auction. I got a stay from DRT. Now it is almost a year and I have paid them another 1 lakh and more as per DRT stay petition guideline. I have paid enough and more. They were lying when they said my EMI was Rs 7760. It should have been Rs 11440.63. How can I settle this?

You can get the calculatin made by the bank.  You can also file memo of calculation in the court.
