Succession certificate or letter of administration

Hello, My wife passed away sometime back intestate. She had an immovable property on her name and there is no will. She is survived by me and our minor son aged 6 years. I came to know that a court document would be required to get her property on my and my son's name. Wanted to know what type of document would be required from court.

Is it 'Succession Certificate' or the 'Letter of Administration'?

What is the difference between these 2 documents and which scenarios they are required in?

Appreciate if I can get some help on this query please. Many thanks.
