Deed still has my dads deceased grandmother's name

Question on fixing solving my home/land deed issue in Kerala. We (Me, my father and mother) have been living at our home and land (in Mavelikara Kerala) for ever. No issue or disputes with any neighbour. Everybody knows that its my dad's land and home, but in reality land/home deal still has my dad's grandmothers name (deed is from 1940s or 1950s). My grandfather could not fix the name issue on the deed. There is just a mention of my dad's name (it says my dad's name, 1 year old)  in the deed, thats all.

I would like to fix all these issues: Add my Dad's name on the deed and and pay property tax based on my Dad's name. How do I go about approaching this? Where should I start? Whom do I contact? Can a lawyer help me out in this scenario?

My grandmother is also dead, died around 1995

Any help would be appreciated.
