A set of plots belongs to three brothers and one friend of theirs. The four owners of the plots made a general power of attoney to a person to enable him to sell the plots.
one of the three brothers died. Is the power of attorney still valid after the brother's death ? and can the person who is holding the power still sell the plot? or does the power of attorney document need to be made again for effecting a valid sale post the death of the brother?
The power of attorney document currently in place does not specify the terms and conditions regarding death of any of the owners.
