Hi,
My brother expired and has a property in Delhi. He has 3 Class 1 Legal heirs as per Hindu law . The Legal heirs reside in diffirent states UP and Maharashtra . Do they have to apply for Legal Heir in delhi or they can apply at any place in India.

as the property is situated only n delh. therefore, you need to apply in delhi only.

I endorse Rohit's view. But all of you can also apply for succession in state where any one of you ordinarily resides.
