Mou done by slum land owner

Dear Sirr,

We are some 200 families residing at bhandup West in chawls which is slum declared by govt. The ownership of land is private & owners had done MOU with the developer of their choice without consulting us. The MOU does not contain any Amt recd/paid (kept blank in MOU) We dont want to appoint this developer. But the owners

cliams that he had done MOU with developer so accept him. In such a situation, does such MOU in legally binding on Owners as well as slum dweller. Pl calrify

First of all i want to know whether these slum deweller have any evidence of their existence from year 2000

Ideally there should be tripartiate MOU ie slum dwellers, developers, and owner of land

but if u cannot prove your existence before year 2000 then owner can evict u from his plot
