Poa-adjudication in chennai

I want to adjudicate a poa to sell a property outside chennai 1)should i get it done only from district reistrar office at santhome 2)WHat documents should i carry for the adjudication? 3)What is the typical cost for adjudication? 4)Will the process be completed on the same day?
