Learned members,
Matter relating to Tamilnadu. I was told that a 'Will' pertaining to property situated outside Chennai does not require probate or letters of administration.
Is it so?
Is it merely enough if the will is made effective at the Revenue dept by mutation of records based on the will?

Yes, probate is required only in Mumbai, Chennai and Best Bengal.
