Purchasing land in gujarat

Hi,

I am based in Indore and own a agricultural land. I came to know from Times of India, Ahemadabad edition dated - 23.June.12 that any farmer of any state can buy land in Gujarat.

Now, my question is, Can I purchase agriculture land in Gujarat ?

Please guide.

Any Agriculturist can buy Agriculture land anywhere in India.

As the news item appeared in a standard newspaper being The Times Of India ,That any farmer of any state can buy land in Gujrat ,it must be true , as such you may purchase agriculture land in gujrat.

But still my point remains same, Advocates to practice in Registrar Department should receive intimation from Gujarat Govt., Collector or Tehsildaar, etc. Is there any Circular published that supports "Times of India" news.
