Dear Sirs,
I have a divorce case filed against me by my wife. We are in fact yet to start the proceedings also.The vakalat nama will be filed on Friday. I wanted to clarify whether I can transfer or sell a property in my name during this period. Should it be done before filing the application or can it be done when the divorce case is going on?

1. Before filing Vakalatnama and or written statement (reply) to her Divorce suit.
Reason:
A. Right now you have not participated with your say as per Law the concerned suit proceedings other than knowing some suit against you in some court there.
B. We will cross the bridge when we come to it in case any adverse inference one has to take by following above suggestion is my view. But right now is the good time if apprehension (property) are giving you lack of sleep.
