Divorce means dissolution of marriage. IN Hindus to dissolve the marriage divorce petition will have to be filed. Mohammadans will have to file Declaration of marriage null and void .
In the divorce marriage will be dissolved and in declaration marriage will be declared as null and void.
There is no change in waiting period.
