You have to prove that the alleged offences were false and defame you such complaints were filed.

Dear Mr.Kumar,

70% of 498A or DV Act cases are considered to be false. That is a destructive sword in the hands of women to teach a lesson for the husband and the inlaws household.First thing you have to prove that the allegations are false, then only you can think of other things.

nope, husband can file suit for defamation only after the prove that the complaint filed under 498 is false and based on wrong facts.

Dear Rajendera,

you can't do any thing before hand unless and until you will be acquitted from these false cases thereafter you can think of doing anything otherwise not. Onus to prove is upon you that all allegations levelled against you are false.  first contest these cases.

Can a husband send wife to Jail for false complaint under DV/ 498a?

Theoratically Yes, Practically No

Can a husband do other things to protect himself and bring criminal charges against wife.

Yes, it would depend upon the facts of your case. Meet an effective lawyer, he would guide you in this regard.
