Ownership

Sir/s, We have two properties in Coorg district in which coffee is planted. The first property was purchased by our grand father in 1934 under a registered sale deed (he died in 1964). His successor's name has been updated in CRC and RTC (5th column). Along with that there was one name called Guyya Mahadevaru. The second property was purchased by us in 1995 under a registered sale deed. There were earlier sale transactions in the year 1955, 1969 and we purchased in 1995. In this property also we have obtained CRC, RTC and the name appears in village map. The name Guyya Mahadevaru is found in this property also. This name appears in hundreds of other properties of this village right from the last about 100 years. Some greedy and shameless people of this village, claiming themselves to be committee of a temple present in the village have filed a case in the court saying Guyya Mahadevaru is the other name for Guyya Agastheshwara the presiding deity and the land be given to the temple committee. They do not have any document to prove the ownership other than the name Guyya Mahadevaru present in RTC. Could you experts please enlighten me about the outcome of this case. Can there be any problem to our ownership of these two properties.
