Can accused challenge the dir (domestic incident report)

Dear peers,

Can an accused cheallenge the DIR (domestic incident report) in Domestic Violence Act,

may be the allegation made by the petitioner in the DIR in front of  Protection Officer (PO) is it PO is responisble to investigate or PO personally verify this DIR or find the truth. After all a false DIR, can harm a lot to the accused and many members.

Yes. You can challence in the family court of law(2) The Protection Officer shall be under the control and supervision of the Magistrate, and shall perform the duties imposed on him by the Magistrate and the Government by, or under, this Act.
