Releiving letter

Hi Experts and Dear Seniors,

I am doing research on how mandatory it is for an employer to provide relieveing letter.

I want to find out if their is any law which speaks speacially about this particular area.

If we are looking forward to issue a legal notice to provide a legal notice then, under which act or law (being specific) would it fall.

Please seniors, i am hoping I ll get enough help and also a good headstart.

Thannks

Your area of interest is as it seems Administrative Law and this area falls within your queries . read this subject carefully and you would find the answer yourself.  Relieving letter is a basic content which an employer would ask from you  before he hires you to know the authenticity of your past engagement. If there is no relieving letter you are not acceptable to most of the Companies. There is no Law which speaks on this but this is a part of the HR Policy of the Company.

Regards
