Your wife shall to apply for Indian citizenship in that situation.

For procedure, you visit the following official site of MHA:

In my opinion

Your daughter is holding a Dual Citizenshp

Being your daughter , she is an Indian Citizen

Her Mother Being a Canadian Citizen she is an Canadian

Where she was born

If she is minor add her name in Your Family members

If adult apply fot PAN CARD , Driving Liscence

my daughter has completed 17 last may and she was born in india .

my confusion is regarding oci card. once we surrender her canadian citizenship,do we have to go thru any procedure or she is assumed to be an indian and her oci status automatically ceases.

Mother is a Canadian , and she was born in India

What Canadian Law states with regard to children born in OUT of Canada whose mother is Candian and Father is yet not Candian

First be sure of that Law

To be a Canadian and then become an Indian Citizen is much better and easier than the other way round

First , what Canadian Law states

then further

Sorry

that means your daughter already hold Canadian citizenship

Go to Citizen ship Act

Read it

by birth

by application

do some homework

solution You or Your daughter will find

Or state them here

I will experts will tell you

Your wife, daughter can join you as this is a family matter and India cannot deny you conjugal rights under Article 21 of the Constitution and neither can the Indian government deny you company of your daughter ander the same article of the Indian Constitution. When they come they should get a PAN Card, Driving licences,Indian passports, Voter ID cards.[Any one of these].Get hold of an immigration agent. Advocate is a big deal.
