Request to members who can put light on the query on Legal Metrology Rules (LM Rules):
Please guide on whether the manufacturer can affix a sticker on the package which contains all the declarations as required under the LM Rules.
It is not intended to modify the information already there on the pack but to provide additional information.
Basically, it is a common pack made for exports and for domestic supply. The original info. on the pack is intended for exports and is general. The sticker intended tobe put on the pack has additional information as per the Legal Metrology Rules for domestic use.
Will this amount to any kind of violations of the Rules.
