limtation period query for filing s.138

sir,

i deposit cheque on 21-04-2011

cheque dishonoured memo dtd-24-04-2011

i receive cheque on 26-04-2011 from bank.

sent notice on 04-05-2011

now please tell me limitation period as for filing cases in court(I mean what is the last date for filing)

From the date of dishonour you might have issue legal notice with in 30 days and thereafter either receival or refusal 15 days from thtat day and 30 days which equals to 45 days from the date of refusal or receiving of legal notice you can file compaint
