M. PIRAVI PERUMAL (Advocate & Consumer Rights)     23 April 2011

Politicians & Civil Society

What is the difference between the politicians and the so called civil society.  The politicians spend several lakhs in celebrating their birthdays, they get land/plot allotments under discretionary quota, they talk but they will not act, they justify their acts.  But the very same allegations are being thrown at the so called civil society.  Those who preach must first follow . . .

Dear Piravi Perumal, I can only say that this tribe of Politicians are such a person who will promise to the people to built a bridge even though there is no River. They will distribute money freely in their election campaign but people do not realized that those money are taken back with Rs.1000/- interest per month from them.

Indian so called intellectuals are from civil society, they only know crtisism.  Those are Mahesh Bhat and others.  They only know oppose.  Mahesh Bhat has critisied that Anna Hajare's Aandolan is just like a cinema.

Such persons wont do anything but dont know to keep quiet.
