Dear Friends,
I would like to know the value of the stamp paper (presently applicable) on which a bank has to issue Bank Guarantee for an amount exceeding Rs.2 crores , as per Uttar Pradesh Stamp Act.
I hope we can use the NJS of Tamil Nadu, if such BG is issued by a Bank in Tamil nadu for covering a business transaction in UP.

I assume that the Bank Guarantee will be executed in Tamilnadu. if so, the stamp duty applicable will be as per the Tamilnadu slabs of stamp duty.

If the Bank Guarantee is being issued by a Banker at Tamilnadu, the Stamp duty as applicable in Tamilnadu is required to be paid.
However, it is 0.5% in U.P.
