Female NRI filing divorce--PART 2

Hello Everyone.

Thank you for all your replies....I have been infomed that for females we can get free legal help because as women we don't sometimes have the finanaces to help us...can all the professionals on this matter please inform me about this?? Is this true???

Also, I received suggestions that I can file a dowry harassment, and one under the women domestic act and a petition for dissolution of marriage...my question is where do i go to file these compliments/petitions??? Where is the office, the locations???? Also is there any cost to this???

1. Oh Yes it is 100% true that females get free legal aid on tax payers hard earned money. For seeking such help each District Courts and your State High Court have Legal Aid Centers within the Court Complex or at a Annexe building. You may approach them and tell them about your saga and seek utilization of our hard earned tax money to full extent.

2. Well, once you are enrolled for Free Legal Aid the Center itself provides a Ld. Advocate to you with free legal knowledge (suggestions to file package of civil / criminal cases based on your verbal briefs discussions with the center head) and rest the ld. Advocate attached to you does the work as per Rules.

put alll possible criminal cases , whether applicable or not, rest govt lawyer will do, as harassment of women is a crime against state not u.

You can apply for the Legal Aid at Delhi. It is Free for the women.

All district courts and all State HC's have Legal Aid Center now-a-days and we don't know from which Jurisdiction this lady is planning to file such cases so advising her of DELHI makes no sense atleast to me.
