Hi, wanted to know the legal aspects of transferring property(land) between brothers. There is no sale done here. Its only a transfer. There are no problems between brothers. Are there any taxes imposed here ?

you may transfer as a partition deed, you must pay stamp duty

Am sorry, i do not understand what a partition deed means. Please explain ? How much would be the stamp duty ?
