Need your advice urgently

Dear LCI Members,

Request your advice urgently regarding Land/House agreement. Is it necessary for both Buyer as well as Seller to sign on an agreement as per law OR is it just enjough for the seller to Sign the agreement in the eyes of Law?

Please clarify

Also is it necessary to get the agreement registered in order to file a case if other party doesnt agree to the agreement later.?

Registration is necessary and both party sign is compulsury.

Normally rental agrements are not registered to avoid registeration fee and other expenses but when there is a dispute the law teaches what blunder is committed without registering. Signatures of both mandatory or else it wont take the shape of valid document whether registered or unregistered.
