person using his fathers name as 2 different names

respected sir,

a person i know, after adoption using his biological fathers name  in pan card and some records and in voters list as other name (who ever taken adoption ) ex;   in voter id   as one fathers name  and in pan card  as different fathers name  he is a goverment employ,   is it allowed like that or what kind of punishment he will get by the law pls let me know    thankyou

Dear Mr. Reddy

I think, at the time of preparing PAN card & voter ID card, the person must be adopted by other person. If it is so, then he should use his adoptive father's name for all purpose, and even if he is not doing so, then its wrong. But before his adoption, if his biological father's name appears in any document, then its nothing wrong.
