I am an NRI and want to get the gift deed done for the property that I bought in Bangalore. But the property is registered in my brothers name and want to get the gift/sale deed to transfer it on my name. Can I get the gift deed done by my brother and  throught my POA here from US. What is the process. Thanks

Your brother can exeucte the regd., gift deed. POA is not necessary.

Thanks Rajoo. Once the Gift deed is done will the property tax documents also be transfered on my name.? What are the legal documents should I expect as part of the reg. gift deed. Once i get the gift deed documents can I sell or take loan to construct a house and will not have any legal problems in future? Thanks

Yes your borhter can execute registered gift deed in your favour, after the completion of the documentation you need get the katha transfer in your name, then you can pay the tax and you can obtaine  bank loan for the construction.

After registration of Gift Deed, should any stamp duty or/and registration fees must be paid by Donor or Donee? If yes, how much in Bangalore?
