value of chargesheet

Dear friends,

please tell what is the evidentiary value of the chargesheet document filed by the police...

In my case the chargesheet document written by the SHO is quite apart from the statemetns of the witnesses..

so I want to know what is the value of the statements written by the SHO in the chargesheet form...

Please help..

Anmol you will get the benefit if the charge-sheet contain the sections which are differ from the statements of the witnesses in trial and you can file an application under-section 239 cr.p.c if you find so.
