A company is engaged in mining and munufacture of vermiculite Mineral. The Mines and processing units are in Andrapradesh.The processing unit is in side the mines area.
The crude is excavted from mines and the same is processed to make the materials ready for sale. The Mining lease is given by the state Government. The director of Mines safety inspects the mines periodically.
The ESI act does not apply to Mining operations as stipulated in the ESI Act.
Will be much obliged if experts advise about the applicability of ESI for this company
