Duty exemption for manufacturing of electric vehicles

Sir / Madam,

Some where I have seen there is an exemption on imported items to manufacture electric vehicles like Buses, Trucks....etc.

But, recently customs has applied BCD and received bill of entry with duty.

Please check and confirm whether any duty exemption option is still available on parts imported for manufacturing electric bus and truck along with relevant notification details.
