Housing society

Hi i need advice on following I live in a small private colony of independent houses which has 4 lanes..all the four lanes have one gate each for entrance exit...and there is this 5 th gate which is towards the end of our colony adjoining with a slum area..which connects 4 th and third lane to each other...but now people from this jhuggi are entering in to the colony through this fifth gate and creating nuisances every day..majority of the households are in favour of closing this gate but few households are against it.... Kindly guide on the legal options through which we can close the gate as our colony does not have any rwa....

The facts posted suggest no legal options. Of course, there is the option of criminal or civil action in respect of specific instances of nuisance or other wrongdoing by anyone. It is not always the case poor people alone indulge in such activities.

You have formed a RWA or it is a CHS ?

Accordingly majority of members/ residents and/or office bearers of RWA or Managing Committee of the cooperative housing society  formed for the managment of colony should decide to close the 5th door.
