1. YES. It is very much important to have the respective names duly mutated /transferred in the Revenue /Municipal offices, via an application annexed with the Partition Deed and relevant fees.  This will serve to avoid any futuristic legal disputes and will clear Title to the properties and will be further useful for Income Tax returns & future LTCG claims.
