Sir,
I have negotiated a deal for purchase of house property(in the extent of 264.44 sq yards) for Rs .49,00,000/-.At the time of finalizing the deal, I have paid an advance of Rs.1,09,000/- by the way of cheque and the seller given a receipt on white paper without revenue stamp.The cheque was encashed by the seller immediately.On the same paper he written that, "on the 3rd day it was decided to give Rs.10,00,000 towards the agreement and balance will be at the time of regustration".
But the second day, i came to know that, the house has no proper plan approval and the seller has huge debts and he is inconsistent".
Then i decided not to proceed further and dropped from entering the agreement and asked him the refund of amount.But he deneid.
Please suggest sir...
