registration of adoption deed

a boy was given in adoption by the natural parents when he was 7 years old, but no adoption deed was entered into. 20 years later an adoption deed alongwith and MOU was entered between the adoptive parents and natural parents confirming the said adoption. however, the same was not registered and only notarized. what is tue sanctity of that adoption deed and does it require compulsory registration. also can that notarised deed be now registered?

Adoption Deed, you have to seek Decree from the Competent Court.   Further, though thechild wasadopted while he was 7 year old, now after 20 years, he cannot be adoted for his age is more than 15 years.   a child over 15 years cannot be adopted.   Now the last resort is that the person  intending to adopt this 20 year old,, shoouldf make a will bequeathing everuthing to this person 20 year old .
