Property Rights.

Hi everyone,

My grandfather died intestate with 3 self acquired property's in different cities and he has 5 children where my mom is the 3rd child.

My mom started a case 2 year after he died against the other 4 siblings,
my mom died a year later now my dad is running the case.

I am their only son, is the case my dad handling is of any use to him or me after my mom died.

If yes do I or my dad get any share in the above said property's. Can my dad make sure I don't get anything.

As I have given him power of attorney to run the case legally.

kindly help me with this confusion.

Dear querist,

You will get share in the property if you win the case. If you have doubt that your father may not give you share in the property then immediately cancel the power of attorney.

The respondents and I have agreed to settle, but my father is not willing.
Can this be the reason to cancel power of attorney.

can I ask all details of the case after cancellation of power of attorney, for a better understanding of the case.

Hello,

You can ask for the details of the case at this stage too. It is not necessary that you need to cancel the power of attorney and then only you can ask about the case.
