What is the difference between a lawyer who is working in a Law Firm? And an advocate who practices in the court. Can a person work in a firm and practice in the court at the same time?
And if a lawyer in a law firm prepares all the necessary documents for a case then is the job of an advocate just to appear in front of the court with those prepared documents?

Lawyer is a basic term that refers to any person who has a law degree. There can be various different types of lawyers, such as advocates, attorneys, solicitors, etc. All of these are considered to be specialists in different fields of law.
Advocate is a person who has completed law degree and eligible to stand in the court on behalf of his/her clients.
A person who is working in a law firm after registering with bar association can appear in the courts and represent his clients. Otherwise research work of the lawyer will be represented by an advocate in a court.
