Q. What is Judgement in Rem?

Ans.Judgement in Rem furnishes conclusive proof of the facts adjudicated against parties as well as against strangers.

1. A Judgement in rem binds on all Men.

2.Judgement in Rem not only against the parties in litigation but against all other even(non litigants).

3.Only superior courts can give Judgement in Rem such as (SC,HC)

4. For Examples;Matrimonial suits, Insolvency cases etc. If court gives final Judgement then we can say it is Judgement in Rem.
