stamp duty on probated will

dear sir my grand father( my mother father) executed a unregistered will to my name .as a grand son I got that will probated do I need to pay full stamp duty..?
or I'm exempted to stamp duty as will has been made within the family member?

You will have to pay stamp duty as applicable for probate.

The court may demand a percentage of the assets as a fee to issue a probate. This, however, is also subject to a ceiling. In addition to the court fee, the lawyer’s fee also needs to be taken into account.
