Gift settlement deed

My grand mother has made a gift settlement deed of her entire property to me and my 3 sisters. On of my sister has died without leaving issues. Her husband married my another sister before the death of first wife. Now he is asking for 2 shares( one for his dead wife and another for the live wife). According to Hindu succession Act 15(2) he will not get the share of dead wife. But since this gift settlement deed is made, will he get the share of dead wife?
