RPF ALWAYS SAID IT IS ARMED FORCE OF THE UOI... UNDER THE REPEAL AND AMENDMENT ACT,2001-sections appertaining to RPF as armed FORCE OF THE UOI have been repealed.... but again it was otherwise indicated that in later years, the same status of RPF as armed FORCE OF THE UOI has been restored by repealing the above Act passed in 2001; I tried to get the matter verified from known sources, but could not find how much truth is there in REPEAL of the ACT passed in 2001...is it possible???

Till 2001, as per the RPF Act of 1985 or otherwise, RPF has been conferred with the status of an Armed FORCE OF THE UOI, but the same was outrightly removed by REPEAL AND AMENDMENT ACT 2001by repealing the SECTIONS of the Act; but the same was found to have been restored ONCE again in LATER YEARS,may be after 2010 or so, BY repealing the earliest R& Act 2001;;;!!! If so, can I get the special GAZETTE NOTIFICATION ORDERS CONNECTED TO THIS MATTER... GETTING REPLY FROM RAILWAY BOARD RPF IS SECONDARY THROUGH RTI... DID you ever served in RPF or in any CAPFs... can you please send your profile on the EXPERIENCE ABOUT CAPFs and about problems with the status of the ARMED FORCE OF THE UOI LIKE IN RPF,WHY THE HONBLE COURT IN A CASE DID NOT AGREE TO GET QUOTA OF SEATS IN MEDICAL COLLEGE TO RPF CHILDREN... CAN YOU PLEASE SEND FEW INCIDENTS WHEREAT RPF HAVE BEEN GIVEN % QUOTA IN THE RESERVATION FOR ARMED FORCES EMPLOYEES... I DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH ME AND I AM STRUGGLING TO GET EQUALITY BEFORE AND AT PAR TREATMENT AS OF ARMED FORCE, NOT JUST TO KEEP ON SAYING...I JOINED IN RPF AS SI IN 1969==RETIRED AS ASSISTANT SECURITY COMMISSIONER, GROUP A GRADE POST... BUT FOR ADMINISTRATION DELAYS IN CONDUCTING DPCs , since several decades they continued so, I have RETIRED as ASC...or else a sub-inspector of 1970s, inspector in 1983, and ad-hoc ASC in 2001... OUT side standing and making comments on fielding, batting and bowling and wickets remaining is very easy... only the player in the field know what cricketer is to be.... REGARDS...
