QUERY REGARDING ADMISSION OF CASE

Recently I got a notice from high court for a writ petition in which i am included as respondent. Does the receipt of notice mean the case has been admitted by HC.

Not necessarily. Each High Court has its own norms. You may verify case status at ecourts.gov.in,
