Personal liberty and freedom of expression end at the tip of one's nose.  So far as it do not hurt the sentiments of others, there is no problem.  But there is no assurance or guarantee, you might have heard how an open letter to PM on Articles 370 was considered as a crime and celebrities were booked for expressing heir opinion to PM through petition.

Narendra Modi is our Prime Minister. But Narendra Dabholkar, Govind Pansare, Kalburgi and Gauri Lankesh were assassinated for speaking against superstition. It is more than 6 years since and the culprits have not been caught so far. Even if you write something  against a specifc superstition here I am sure you will get abuses and brickbats.

One correction. The letter to PM was not against Article 370.  It was against public lynching and the 'Jai Sri Ram cry'. There is no superstition with regard to Article 370.

The reply is basing on the expression of individual opinion be it superstition or any other issues.. and I am sorry for referring Sec.370 without any relevance.

You have the right.

You have the sanction of law and it is a fundamental right. Of course, doing the right thing has its own challenges. But it is those challenges that give zest and meaning to life.

Certainly you have the right to talk against superstitions. But be careful that you dont take any names. Avoid personal references.More than any thing else be sure that what you talk makes some sense.
