Changing housing society allotted commercial property to residential

I would like to know if it is possible to change commercial property to residential. The property is originally allotted by the Housing society as Commercial Property and later a house is built on it. I am interested in that house but need to know if I will be able to convert that property from commercial to residential?

You need to check with the Muncipality as it depends upon the zoning. If the area is as a whole commercail then it is not possible,
