I HAVE PURCHASED A PROPERTY FROM DEBT RECOVERY TRIBUNAL (DRT - 1) VIA A SALE CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE RECOVERY OFFICER. I WANT TO KNOW IS IT MANDATORY TO GET SUCH A PROPERTY REGISTERED IN THE REGISTRAR OFFICE? ALSO I WANT TO KNOW THE PROCEDURE TO SELL SUCH A PROPERTY TO A PRIVATE BUYER?

The certificate of sale is the document for title and could be registered for getting valid title for sale.
