Mismatch between itr and form 16

I have submitted my ITR for AY 19-20. I have claimed Rs. 30000 and 5000 under 80D for medical expenditure and preventive health check respectively. However, these amounts do not reflect in my Form 16.I read that IT department will issue a notice in case there is mismatch between Form 16 and ITR.Will I get a notice in this case?

reply notice as your case is genuine, noting to worry about notice

Dear Sir,

The data in relation to deductions claimed by you in Form 16 is as per information provided by you to your employer. However, whatever is stated in your Income Tax return is final.

Please make sure you have proper documentary evidence for your claim of deductions.

In case you have such documents, then even if you receive a notice, the deductions claimed by you are fully explainable and genuine in nature.

What you state is not a mismatch and you will not get notice from the Deapartment.
