Cheque bounce case

my lawyer has filed cheque bounce case and May 13 was first date to attend court.
lawyer said I Need to attend court
I went to court but my opponent did not attend the court on first date of the case
as when I was called inside judge gave date on Aug 8 and said the summon to opponent was not received and returned to court
is this happens in cheque bounce case??
very confused what shld I do next
any one help me in clarifying

@tell he might have not received the summons to appear please check the summons report for further clarification

yes my lawyer said summon not received
but does this happen ani
my lawyer said I wl prepare beta and send summon again
I m having doubt that really summon is not received to my opponent.
what will happen in next date of attending court what wl be delivered judgement

Mind it wel..trust ur Lawyer . if u lose trust then change Lawyer..

It takes time to serve the other side.and its being procedure and internal matter the summons goes through court bailiff..and there are many reasons by which summons are not served on very first date..or subsequent and return back

trust your lawyer and cooperate..
