RTI ACT-2005 APPLICABLE ON PRIVATE COMPANEY

RESPECTED ALL SIR,

CAN A "RTI ACT-2005 " IS APPLICABLE IN ALL PRIVATE COMPANIES OR PRIVATE ORGANIGATIONS ???????????

yes, it applies to all govt institutions, semi govt institutions and private organizations or companies.

RTI Act is only applicable to Public Bodies. Pls see the Definition!!!

Private companies as of now are not covered under RTI act but if it happens to be a society or a trust it is covered

RTI, Act 2005 is applicable only on the govt. bodies, its undertakings etc but not on the private companies at all and yes now it is applicable on all those societies and trusts who are getting financial aid from the govt. after a judgement by the Hon'ble Apex court.
