time difference between section 9 and divorce

if husband and wife living seprated for 2.5 years.
husband filed a divorce case and withraw section 9 application.
difference between withrawl of section 9 application and divorce is 8 months.
will this be consider as desertion?

as far as i know for desertion 2 yr seprate period must be there with reason.

so what if in between section 9 is withrawn?

This prove desertion?

Though they live separately aggrieved has to prove it in court. If u don't prove it takes yes in court.
